High Dependency
SMT Ambulance Services HDU Division will respond to any request for journeys requiring the skills of a medic from any hospital, GP surgery, clinic, or private bookings from members of the public.
We will also respond to any requests for journeys that currently fall outside of any contracts for the Provision of Ambulances or Patient Transport Services. Our response time to requests is usually less than one hour.
All of our HDU are equipped to front line (999 Emergency Ambulance) specifications as standard. Our vehicles are staffed at a minimum clinical level of an Emergency Care Assistant (additional clinical grades available on request).
